"On Additions to Article 46 of the Federal Law
"On Trademarks, Service Marks and Appellations of Origin"

Article 1. Insert into Clause 3 of Article 46 after Paragraph 4 a new paragraph with the following wording: "A court or arbitration court shall be able to order the confiscation of materials and equipment used in the production of counterfeit products. If such a decision is made by a court, or an arbitration court, the confiscated materials and equipment will be destructed, or be transferred to the plaintiff (rights holder) upon his/her request, or will be transferred to the State revenue."

Article 2. The government of the Russian Federation shall bring its acts to conformity with the present Federal Law.

Article 3. The present Federal Law will become effective upon the day of its official publication.
