CIPR Vice-President Tom Thomson attended the 6th Interpol Intellectual Property Crime Action Group (IIPCAG) meeting held May 5-6, 2004, in Belfast, Northern Ireland. CIPR is a founding member of the IIPCAG, which is assisting Interpol expand its enforcement capabilities against product counterfeiting and copyright piracy worldwide. IIPCAG's members include representatives from Interpol, national law enforcement authorities and customs services worldwide, international inter-governmental agencies, IP governmental bodies, global IP organizations representing the private sector. The Organized Crime Task Force of Northern Ireland was the official host of the IIPCAG meeting.

In addition, we would like to extend our congratulations to CIPR Vice-President , who was unanimously elected private sector Co-chair of the IIPCAG at this annual meeting.
