The event, which took place in the town of Silakrogs near Riga, featured the public destruction of more than 25-million fake cigarettes. Participants in the event included, among others, Dzintars Kudums, Chair, Saeima (Parliament) Defense and Internal Affairs Commission; Mareks Seglins, Latvian Minister of Interior; Andrejs Sonciks, General Director of Latvia's State Revenue Service, U.S. Ambassador Brian Carlson; and, U.K. Ambassador Stephen Nash. |  |
