The establishment and development of any nation’s economy in many ways depend on the level of its intellectual property rights protection.

The position of the Coalition for Intellectual Property Rights plays a significant role in this field. The Coalition’s recommendations have always been of great importance to Kazakhstan.

In connection with this, the Republic of Kazakhstan held the Intellect campaign under the Ministry of Justice on October 6-24, 2003. The campaign was aimed at reducing the incidence of piracy and improving cooperation between government entities and public organizations. A summary of the campaign’s results was drawn up upon its completion. We are sending you a copy of this summary for your information.
