CIPR Activities Since it was founded in 1999, CIPR has sought to bring about IPR reform and improved enforcement practices through legislative advocacy and building coalitions that have common goals and objectives. Through its alliances, CIPR, its members and partners have made concrete advances in establishing intellectual property protections in the region, including increased awareness, improved legislation, a higher level of enforcement and the creation of a larger and shared knowledge base on the topic.
