Large Batch of Counterfeit Tobacco Products Destroyed in Ryazan

A batch of counterfeit tobacco products was destroyed at an industrial landfill in Ryazan.

Alexander Vorobyov, press secretary at the Head Directorate for Economic Crimes of the Federal Service for Economic and Tax Crimes of the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs, told Interfax that this was the largest batch of counterfeit cigarettes destroyed in Russia in the past ten years: foreign rights holders estimated the value of the destroyed cigarettes at $5 million.
